Speech and Language Job Description
- Speciality - Speech and Language Therapist
- Location -South Lodnon
- Start date -ASAP
- Contract Length -Ongoing
- Pay Rates -£30-£35 per hour
- Setting:Specialist provision within a Primary School
- Days: 2 day per week
- We are looking for a Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to provide 2 days per week within a specialist provision based at a primary school.
- The role will involve supporting children with SEND and additional communication needs, providing assessment, individual/group intervention and functional communication strategies.
- You will work closely with education staff to embed therapy throughout the school day, contribute towards EHCP outcomes and provide advice and programmes to teachers, support staff and families.
- Experience working with Autism, social communication needs and complex SLCN would be particularly beneficial.
- Requirements: HCPC-registered SLT with strong paediatric/SEND experience.
Requirements
- 1 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC registered Speech & Language Therapist
