Speech and Language Job Description
- Speciality -Speech & Language Therapy Assistant
- Location -East London
- Start date -ASAP
- Contract Length - Ongoing
- Pay Rates :£20 per hour
- Full or part-time considered
- Ideal for someone with previous SEND/SLT experience or a Speech & Language Therapy graduate looking to build hands-on experience.
- We're looking for an SLT Assistant to support pupils within a specialist SEND school in East London.
The role
- Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions under SLT guidance
- Supporting children with Autism, learning disabilities and communication needs
- Using communication strategies, visual supports and AAC where appropriate
- Supporting pupils with their individual EHCP outcomes
- Working closely with SLTs, teachers and TAs
- Recording progress and feeding back to the wider team
Requirements
- 1 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC Registered
