Speech and Language Job Description
- Speciality -Speech & Language Therapist - Specialist ASD School
- Location -South London
- Start date -ASAP
- Contract Length -Ongoing
- Pay Rates -£30-35 per hour
- Hours: Part-time or full-time
- Globe Locums is recruiting a locum Speech and Language Therapist to support children within mainstream primary education.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and support children with speech, language and communication needs.
- Deliver individual and group interventions.
- Develop practical classroom strategies alongside teachers and SENCOs.
- Provide guidance to parents and school staff.
- Contribute to EHCP provision, reports and reviews as required.
Requirements
- 1 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC registered Speech & Language Therapist
- HCPC registration and paediatric SLT experience, ideally within mainstream primary schools
