Speech and Language Job Description
- Speciality -Speech & Language Therapist- Acute Inpatients & Stroke
- Location -South London
- Start date -ASAP
- Contract Length -Ongoing
- Pay Rates -£30-35 per hour
- Hours: Part-time or full-time
- Globe Locums is recruiting a locum Speech and Language Therapist to support young people within mainstream secondary education.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and manage speech, language and communication needs.
- Deliver interventions supporting language, social communication and access to learning.
- Help pupils develop communication skills for independence and everyday life.
- Work with teachers and SENCOs to implement classroom strategies.
- Contribute to EHCP provision, reports and reviews as required.
Requirements
- 1 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC Registered
- HCPC registration and experience supporting school-aged children or adolescents with communication needs.
