Speech and Language Job Description
- Speciality - Speech and Language Therapist
- Location -South West Lodnon
- Start date -ASAP
- Contract Length -Ongoing
- Pay Rates -£30-£35 per hour
- Setting: Mainstream Primary School
- We are looking for a Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to provide 2 days per week of school-based SLT support within a mainstream primary academy.
- You will manage a paediatric caseload, completing assessments and delivering individual/group interventions for children with a range of Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN).
- The role will involve supporting EHCP outcomes, developing therapy programmes and strategies, reviewing progress and working closely with teachers, SEND staff and parents/carers to embed communication strategies within the school environment.
- Requirements: HCPC-registered SLT with paediatric experience. Previous school/SEND experience is highly desirable.
Requirements
- 1 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC registered Speech & Language Therapist
