Biomedical Scientist Job Description
- Speciality -Blood Transfusion
- Location -Edinburgh
- Start date -ASAP -from November
- Contract Length -Ongoing
- Pay Rate -£37-40 per hour
- Band 6
- Busy and complete transfusion lab
- Once fully trained, may be required to support OOH rota (including back shifts, night shifts and weekends)
Requirements
- 1 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC Registered
- Significant Blood Transfusion/Blood Bank experience
- Competence in routine and urgent transfusion laboratory work
- Ability to work independently and support service delivery within a busy laboratory environment
