Physiotherapy Job Description
- Specility :Band 6 Paeds Physio
- Location : South West London
- Start date : November
- Contract Lenth - Ongoing
- Pay rate: £30-32 per hour
- You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary therapy team, providing specialist, evidence-based physiotherapy to children and young people aged 2-19 years with profound and multiple learning difficulties, sensory impairment, physical disabilities and complex medical needs.
- The role will involve a combination of hands-on physiotherapy, assessment, treatment, advice and specialist intervention, working closely with children, families, carers and teaching staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist, evidence-based and outcome-focused physiotherapy interventions.
- Carry out comprehensive assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide hands-on physiotherapy for children and young people with neurological and developmental conditions.
- Support children with complex physical, sensory and medical needs.
- Provide advice, guidance and training to teaching staff, families and carers.
- Contribute to safe manual handling and risk management strategies.
- Support specialist equipment assessment and prescription.
- Work collaboratively with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to EHCP requirements, annual reviews and professional reports where required.
- Participate in service development, CPD and peer learning.

Requirements
- 2year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC Registered
