Occupational Therapy Job Description
- Speciality -Band 6 Mental Health OT
- Location -Ilford
- Start date - ASAP
- Contract Length - Ongoing
- Pay Rate - £26-28 per hour
- Car Driver
- Support junior staff, attend MDT meetings, undertake OT specialist assessment and intervention for keyworked caseload of clients (1:1 and group interventions). Support duty rota
- Qualified and registered Occupational Therapist with experience of working with caseload of clients with severe and enduring mental illness.
- Supervisory experience, use of MOHO, assessment and interventions skills to support recovery, wellbeing and social inclusion.
- OT report writing. Group facilitation skills.
- 0.8 wte = 30 hours per week. Can be a flexible pattern and to also meet service need. An e.g = Mon- Thurs 9-5 with 30 mins lunch
Requirements
- 1 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC Registered
