Occupational Therapy Job Description
- Speciality - OT
- Location -North West London
- Start date - ASAP
- Contract Length - Ongoing
- Pay Rate - £40-50 per hour
- We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide flexible support across 3-4 schools in North West London as part of a new SEND programme.
- The hours are ad hoc and flexible, making this ideal for an OT wanting additional work alongside an existing locum, NHS or private role.
Role
- OT assessments and intervention
- Supporting pupils with ASD, complex needs and a range of SEND
- Sensory and functional assessment
- Supporting sensory regulation, motor and functional needs
- Providing strategies and recommendations to schools
- Liaising with teachers, SENCOs, families and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Working flexibly across several North West London schools
Requirements
- 1 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
- Paediatric, SEND, school or community experience
- Experience supporting children with ASD/complex needs desirable
- Comfortable working independently across education settings
