Biomedical Scientist Job Description
- Speciality -Biochemistry -Biomedical Scientis
- Location -Glasgow
- Start date -ASAP
- Contract Length -6 months
- Pay Rate-£38 per hour
- Daily preparation, analysis and reporting of faecal calprotectin samples.
- Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the DiaSorin Liaison analyser.
- Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the Dynex DS2 analyser.
- Participation in routine quality control, instrument maintenance and laboratory documentation procedures.
- Working within UKAS-accredited laboratory standards and departmental SOPs.
- Previous experience with faecal calprotectin testing and either the DiaSorin Liaison and/or Dynex DS2 platforms would be highly desirable.
Requirements
- 1 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC Registered
- HCPC registered BMS with strong background in clinical biochemistry
