Occupational Therapy Job Description
- Speciality -Band 6 CYP (SEND) OT
- Location -West London
- Start date -ASAP
- Contract Length -Ongoing
- Pay Rate - £30-34 per hour
- This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive OT with experience working with children and young people with autism, complex learning needs or additional needs.
The Role
- Supporting children and young people aged 4-19 with autism and complex learning needs
- Managing a varied clinical caseload
- Delivering high-quality, evidence-based Occupational Therapy across school and community settings
- Developing individual sensory strategies, motor development plans and functional/life skills programmes
- Working closely with teaching and multidisciplinary teams
- Contributing clinical advice and outcome-focused reporting to EHCPs and multidisciplinary reviews
- Providing guidance and support to staff and families to embed therapeutic strategies
Requirements
- 1 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC Registered
