Speech and Language Job Description
- Speciality -Speech & Language Therapist
- Location -Cambridge
- Start date -ASAP
- Contract Length -Ongoing
- Pay Rates -£26-£30 per hour
- Band: 6/7
- Hours: Full or part time
- We're looking for an experienced Adult SLT to support the Adult Acute team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The role:
- Adult acute inpatient caseload
- Independent dysphagia assessment and management
- Acquired communication disorders
- Complex medical, respiratory, neurological and surgical patients
- MDT working and discharge planning
- Tracheostomy experience desirable
- FEES/Videofluoroscopy experience beneficial
- Must be HCPC registered and dysphagia competent
- Strong adult acute and independent dysphagia experience is essential.
Requirements
- 1 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC registered Speech & Language Therapist
