We are seeking an experienced and proactive Internal Communications Manager to lead and deliver engaging communications that keep our employees informed, connected, and inspired, especially as we navigate a recent merger and integration. This role will be pivotal in shaping our internal communications strategy for 6 and beyond, ensuring clarity, consistency, and creativity across all channels.

Key Responsibilities- Employee Events: Plan, coordinate, and deliver monthly all-staff town halls via Zoom. Support in creation of materials for key internal events like Leadership Kick-Offs and mid-year offsite updates. Partner with leadership to craft compelling messages and presentations.
- Merger & Integration Communications: Own the weekly merger newsletter: write engaging content and manage distribution via Mailchimp. Support communications across integration workstreams (IT, HR, Operations, Rebrand) to ensure employees are informed and aligned. Build communication plans for future acquisitions to ensure smooth transitions.
- Internal Comms Strategy & Engagement: Collaborate with the Chief of Staff and People & Talent team to define and implement a 6 internal communications strategy. Identify and optimize channels (email, intranet, video, events) and formats to drive engagement and connection. Engage with Employee Affinity Networks to support their communication strategies and amplify their impact globally. Drive global engagement across multiple regions and remote workers, ensuring inclusivity and cultural alignment.
- Digital Platforms & Best Practice: Lead the implementation of a new employee intranet and employee management/emailing platform, ensuring they become a central hub for communication and engagement. Help mature the internal communications function by introducing policies, governance, and best practices. Monitor effectiveness of communications and recommend improvements based on feedback and analytics.
- Content Creation & Brand Alignment: Develop clear, consistent, and engaging content that reflects our brand voice and values. Ensure all internal communications support cultural integration and reinforce company priorities.
- Proven experience in internal communications, preferably in a fast-paced or post-merger environment.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with an eye for detail and tone.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with tools like Zoom, Mailchimp, and Microsoft Office (experience with intranet platforms a plus).
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience managing global communications and engaging remote teams is highly desirable.
