Research and Consultancy Director (Precious Metals)

The Company Globe 24-7 in partnership with a key research consultancy client are working together to source an experienced and qualified Research and Consultancy Director (Precious Metals) for their team. The candidate will need to go to the office in London few days a week. The Responsibilities This is a director position, responsible for: Leading a team of analysts globally. Managing the production of critical industry reports. Delivering timely and accurate market data to clients. Acting as a key liaison between the business and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Ensure data accuracy and timeliness for supply and demand statistics. Oversee data inputs for key reports. Supervise the creation, design, and publication of major reports on gold and silver markets. Ensure reports meet deadlines and maintain high quality. Manage relationships with key clients. Oversee ad-hoc consultancy projects and ensure they align with client expectations. Collect and analyze market data for specific regions (e.g., Italy, France, Canada, USA). Provide insights and commentary for scheduled reports and consultancy projects. Represent the business at conferences, launches, and industry events. Deliver presentations, moderate panels, and network to raise the company’s profile. The Requirements Degree level education in Earth Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or related disciplines. Relevant MBA or MSc. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with strong logical thinking and attention to detail. Competent user of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent standard of written and spoken English. Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to strict deadlines. Confident at presenting, networking, and speaking, able to communicate ideas and arguments positively and effectively. A willingness to make and develop industry contacts. Ability to travel internationally. A willingness to learn quickly and take responsibility. Desired Skills and Experience An understanding of the global commodity and financial markets. Ability to develop new methods of working and introduce new ideas. Fluency in French and/or Italian is useful but not a requirement. A working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Illustrator is useful.
