As our Growth Marketing Automation Engineer you’ll:
- Multiply what the whole Growth Marketing team can do. You won’t run a channel or own a campaign, you build the systems, agents and tools that let everyone else operate at a scale they couldn’t reach independently.
- This is one of the highest-leverage seats on the team. Reporting to the VP Growth Marketing this role is deliberately team-agnostic, sits across Growth Marketing and collaborates with the entire marketing team.
- You are the glue and the force-multiplier between them.
What you'll be doing:
- Set the build roadmap. Work with VP Growth Marketing and other stakeholders to agree a quarterly roadmap of the highest-leverage builds. You’ll have a clear backlog and the air cover to say no to the rest.
- Find and automate repetitive work. Find the repetitive tasks eating the team’s time and replace them with agents and automations.
- Act as a force multiplier across the team. Build systems that increase the impact of high-leverage work. Examples include: multiply our ABX operations; use GWI’s MCP and API to generate personalised content at scale; connect data sources and context to create a Growth Marketing OS that surfaces what’s working, what isn’t, and what we should do next.
- Find growth levers in the funnel and fix/scale. Run analysis and discovery to discover the biggest levers and run experiments to improve conversion or unlock new growth.
What do I need to bring with me?
- Experience managing campaigns, channels and funnels. You know how they work and know how to run a test.
- You could be a growth or performance marketer who has gone all-in on AI and wants it to be the main part of your job.
- You are a problem-solver and builder by default. You welcome messy, open-ended problems and are relentlessly curious and resourceful.
- You build with AI, not just chat with it: chaining prompts, wiring up agents, and automating work.
- Data literacy and a systems thinker: you can think through problems end-to-end, document a clear scope and create a structured plan that links back to a measurable outcome.
- You don’t need a computer science degree or a software engineering background, but you’re comfortable in low/no-code platforms, happy wiring up APIs and MCP, and you pick new tools up fast.
Bonus points for:
- Built agentic workflows that drove a real marketing outcome with before/after numbers to prove it.
- Hands-on with the modern martech stack: AI enabled (e.g. LLMs, MCP, vibe-coding) and core platforms (e.g. marketing automation, web CMS).
- Experience running channels and campaigns at scale. You know where automation helps versus where it hurts.
- Comfortable with data: pulling from APIs, shaping it, and turning it into something a team can act on.
- A portfolio of things you’ve built — we’d rather see what you’ve shipped than read about it.
What We Offer:
- Time to recharge – 25 days’ annual leave, plus office closures over the holidays.
