Our client is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer (Controls Automation Engineer) to support their flagship development project. We expect to find a suitable candidate from any of the below target markets with the expertise and experience listed in the second section.

Target Industries:

  • Heavy industrial automation
  • Oil & Gas

  • Energy Infrastructure

Scope:

  • Architect PLC control logic integrating with SCADA & HMI interfaces in line with safety/compliance guidelines and compliance considerations
  • Develop Test and V&V facilities - own test data, reporting and troubleshooting of VHP gas management systems

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in PLC programming with any of the major vendors - (Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley etc)
  • Deep technical expertise in DAQ architectures, and advanced instrumentation systems; working with SCADA etc
  • Solid command of gas dynamics, compressed gas infrastructure, pressure testing, and leak detection methodologies
  • Degree in controls engineering, electrical engineering, electro-mechanical or similar discipline

Nice to have:

  • Experience applying system safety methods (eg FMEA, FTA, FHA)
