A client of ours in the energy sector are looking to hire a Business Development Manager/Energy Originator to help them, expand their Virtual Power Plant (VPP).
Their VPP is in its infancy and is targeting grid-scale Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS).
The Opportunity
The client's VPP is in its early stages, so this a great opportunity for someone looking for a step up from their current role.
Working with the Head of Service, you will be responsible for devising and executing your own Business Development strategy to acquire existing assets, building your own portfolio of grid-scale BESS.
The Candidate
Any successful candidate will need:
- Previous experience in the energy sector, preferably BESS or other flexible energy assets
- A background in energy origination or acquisition of assets
- Demonstrable experience developing business relationships in new markets
