Global Talent 2020 is proudly working with one of Edinburgh's leading high-end casual dining restaurants at their beautifully appointed venue in the heart of the city. Our award-winning, quality-focused, culinary client has been established for many years and has noted standing in the marketplace.
Set in a busy city location, our client is looking for a passionate Head Chef to lead one of their quality-focused food operations. This role involves leading a close, dedicated kitchen brigade, producing high-level popular food concepts across the main restaurant of this recognised day venue, mainly delivering quality breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea type services. There is also a need to operate the delivery of evening events dinners a couple of times a week throughout the year.
The person: Our passionate foodie client at Global Talent 2020 is looking for an experienced Head Chef talent in the kitchen. Someone who is approachable, has a positive outgoing personality, and possesses a 'can-do' mentality, leading a close-knit team. The ideal Head Chef candidate must have prior experience of working in a volume food-led kitchen, cooking with the pick of fresh ingredients, specifically with one rosette restaurant experience, and also experience of high-end events delivery. You must be able to demonstrate good all-round culinary technical skills and be able to grow, train, and develop the brigade with this quality-focused organisation, leading them in making memorable food experiences for its customers. All chef applicants will need to demonstrate their technical abilities at the interview stage.
