Global Talent 2020 are proudly working with our exciting, growing East Coast boutique Restaurant client for their well-positioned venue in a trendy area of Edinburgh city. Our client is recruiting for a General Manager to lead and join their exciting restaurant/bar operations.
The ideal General Manager candidate must have had prior experience of leading a fresh food outlet concept and had experience of a volume high street restaurant in on their CV over the last two years. You will need to be highly approachable with your personality, as you will be interacting with other senior company heads, the customers, and with all levels of the site diverse teams.
Our client requires an ideal General Manager candidate that is keen to train, coach and mentor their teams, evolve the fresh food services, deliver consistent quality customer journeys, and drive the innovative food concepts, furthering the reputation of the business in the Edinburgh marketplace.
As the ideal candidate, you must be proven to be flexible and highly adaptive in all your approaches to your team, your operational ethos, and your understanding of the P&L, cost controls, wage controls, and inventory management.
As General Manager, you must also be someone who not only has strong all-round business nous abilities, but exhibit great presentation of venue skills, someone who is an effective manager of the kitchen environment, health, and safety, COSHH, RIDDOR, and venue recruitment.
You will be working with a local, growing quality focused business, delivering fresh food creations to high consistent standards through your team. Working with a talented bunch of people, excellent work/life balance, well presented venue, and good remuneration package and tronc for the duties required at the site.
Package Salary £36k -plus £7k tronc, plus annual Bonus and excellent company benefits.
