Global Talent 2020βs award-winning boutique Hotelier client, in central Edinburgh, is looking for a full-time, on-property Area Sales & Manager professional to join their growing, established group as a dedicated sales business developer for Edinburgh and the Scottish region.
The luxury client is looking for a creative, self-sufficient individual, a proven Sales Manager with a minimum of 4 years in similar Hotel sales roles, and a strong awareness of the local and wider UK markets. The ideal candidate has a track record of achieving sales growth, developing corporate and leisure event bookings, and balancing corporate and leisure clients while maintaining existing relationships.
The Area Sales Manager will work primarily independently with the Sales BDM and report directly to the Sales Director for the UK. The role also involves liaison with other HODs, collaboration with GMs of venues in the business, and coordination with Marketing for targeted social, media and PR engagements.
Responsibilities:- Managing and negotiating client relationships with corporates and leisure sectors.
- Developing new business sales opportunities and retaining existing client relationships.
- Driving growth with a track record of like-for-like sales success in a hotel-focused business.
- Creating weekly and monthly MI reports to analyse insights and analytics.
- Operational management understanding of service delivery with other HODs.
- IT literate and a clear communicator.
- Experience in marketing, PR, social media and press.
