The role: Global Talent 2020’s client will require the Duty Manager to support the Restaurant Manager in leading the diverse team across this attractive venue. This long‑established and well‑appointed food and drink concept will require a Duty Manager candidate with proven hands‑on restaurant operational experience. You will need to be comfortable in being very customer-facing and lead by example. Possessing an exceptional eye for detail, while possessing good commercial nous, and sound soft people skills.
You will manage the team across all fronts of house for the restaurant as required when on shift. Some clear understanding of stock controls, rota management, health & safety, training, coaching of the development of others, understanding of an Epos system, as well as possessing first‑class communication skills are pre‑requisites for this new, exciting fast‑paced role.
The person: Our client at Global Talent 2020 is looking for a hands‑on approach type person, with an engaging personality, whilst being a focused, well‑organised supervisor of operations. A positive attitude and a driven attitude are also highly desired. Commercially, the right candidate must have good up‑selling skills at the table. This is a multi‑tasking, challenging role, in an amazingly presented environment. Quality service understanding of all areas of a volume bar and restaurant operation are also skill sets required by Global Talent 2020's client.
