Your Role:
Global Relay delivers enterprise services to 23,000 customers in 90 countries, including 22 of the top 25 global banks.Technical Product Managers (TPMs) are part of theProduct Management team that is responsible for executing product strategy, prioritizing and aligning roadmaps, and for researching and defining enhancements and upgrades to Global Relay services.
Reporting to a Group Product Manager, the TPM of eComms Surveillance will join the product team responsible for managing and evolving our surveillance product capabilities.
You will be responsible for working with customers and internal stakeholders to define your product roadmap and for driving new surveillance products and features through the development process. Working closely with other Product Managers you will ensure roadmaps are clear, prioritized, achievable, and aligned with strategy.
You will define detailed businessrequirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for specific features, and collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders, Team Leads, Architects, and UI/UX to ensure high quality designs are produced.
You will attend daily stand-upsand other agile ceremonies, grooming your backlog, plan sprints, accept completed stories, monitor progress, report status, andmanagekey release activities including documentation and training.
Your Job:
- Lead complex initiatives from requirements definition through delivery.
- Create, prioritize and communicate the roadmap for your team. Be the go-to expert and leader for new product enhancements.
- Collaborate with Sales, Support, clients, and other TPMs to define the teams backlog working through cross team dependencies as required.
- Lead initiatives through to delivery, supporting delivery of initiatives with minimal support & guidancefrom Group Product Manager.
- Translate customer needs into functional and non-functional requirements, workflow diagrams, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and other suitable artefacts to support development.
- Collaborate with other TPMs, Architects, UI/UX, and Team Leads to drive requirements through the design phase.
- Work with Engineering and other departments to actively seek feedback, remove obstacles blocking progress and ensure program is within schedule.
- Attend daily stand-ups, grooming, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives and other team meetings with your Agile team(s). Prioritize and groom team(s) backlog.
- Create work estimates, track progress, and report status in the form of burn up/down charts and dashboards.
- Support Marketing, Sales, Provisioning, Professional Services, Technical Documentation, Training, and Technical Support throughout the release process with training, documentation, announcements, and other release activities.
About You:
- 4/6+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager or Product Owner.
- Experience working within a Financial Services regulated environment and/or similar compliance disciplines.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
- Strong requirement elicitation, analysis, domain modelling, use case modelling, workflow design, and documentation skills.
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Flexible and practical problem solver, able to work effectively in a growing organization.
- Experience with a SaaS, messaging, or enterprise software company and/or background in software engineering preferred.
