Your Role

Project management staff ensure development projects supporting product services are completed smoothly and efficiently. A Project Manager manages development, identifying and managing the intra team dependencies between the various team functions to ensure that teamwork effort remains feasible and delivers business value. The Project Manager facilitates processes and supports project execution, escalates impediments, manages risk, and helps drive project-level continuous improvement. The Project Manager must work with colleagues to allocate and optimize resources within software projects, including possible 3rd party resources, as well as any additional work that is required. They must have the ability to creatively influence the project pacing and obtain incremental benefits before the project is complete.

Your Job

  • Acquire a sufficient understanding of the business need and proposed solution(s) to support product coordination and delivery.
  • Partner with product development teams to plan, coordinate and deliver multiple concurrent product initiatives.
  • Help teams with compiling work estimates and creating and maintaining project plans which include phased delivery, key milestones and releases.
  • Identify delivery risks, issues and cross-team dependencies and collaborate with stakeholders to mitigate and resolve them.
  • Track and report initiative progress against standard delivery gates, milestones and releases.
  • Provide regular status updates to wider stakeholders, escalating to management as appropriate.
  • Identify, recommend and champion process improvements which improve agility, delivery predictability and execution efficiency.
  • Provide inputs to management on resourcing and prioritization problems.

About You

  • 3+ years of experience which includes full lifecycle software development project management (as a Project Manager or equivalent role) including planning, monitoring, managing risks and issues, and reporting on project status.
  • Experience of project delivery using Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with driving initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders across organizations including working with remote teams across multiple geographies.
  • Experience with managing either data migration or platform migration projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
  • Strong organizational, planning, stakeholder management and documentation skills.
  • Experience with either SaaS, messaging platform(s) or data integration for enterprise markets (desirable).
  • A relevant project management certification and/or technical background (desirable).
