We offer the latest industry news, in-depth information and market trends. We're looking for a motivated, multi-skilled journalist to join our editorial team as a senior reporter, covering the business side of one of the most exciting industries.
What you'll do:
- Monitor the latest news and business trends within the pet industry
- Proactively pitch your own story ideas
- Write investigative/in-depth articles for our website and magazine
- Build relationships with top industry players
- Support the Editor-in-Chief in overseeing the work of a junior reporter
What you bring to the table:
- At least 3 years in similar roles
- Previous experience in a B2B environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to grasp complex topics and explain them in concise language
- Ability to interpret and analyze key business trends
- Keen eye for accuracy and quality
- Expertise in gathering news and managing/contacting sources
- Experience in working under pressure to tight deadlines
- Native-level English skills required
Nice to haves:
- Experience in covering business-related topics (company earnings, IPOs, merger and acquisitions, start-ups...)
- Comfortable working with data (surveys, data reports, data sets...) and turning those insights into compelling stories
- Previous experience in managing journalists
- Additional languages are highly valued
Location: Remote (Ideally, you're based in the Central European Time zone, or one timezone off.)
