We are seeking Contract Full-stack Platform Engineers to join a dedicated niche team delivering and evolving our clients' technology platforms. This entails full lifecycle development with Kanban or Scrumban, with the ability to communicate and consult, lead where required, on implementation, quality and operability. Our Contract Assignments are Inside IR 35, hybrid working, initially for 6-9 months.
About the role:
- Experience with C#/.NET, other additional languages highly desirable (e.g., Java, Python)
- React/TypeScript
- RESTful API design
- Apache Kafka
- PostgreSQL
- Git/GitHub workflows
- Automated testing
- Experience with Kubernetes deployments; able to build CI/CD pipelines, observability logs and metrics, performance tuning and scaling
About you (ideally):
- As a Senior Software Engineer/Platform Engineer, you’ll be integral to our client-facing delivery teams, working with clients to design and build their technology-enabled platform solutions.
- You will be responsible for providing technical thought leadership on client engagements.
- You will actively contribute to development team activities and technical solutions where strong attention to detail is required.
- You will be hands-on in projects, taking a lead in the design and development of solutions as well as providing technical guidance and validation to the wider team, working on critical cloud-based complex application solutions that can be deployed automatically.
- You will be responsible for stakeholder management, building client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
