We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Java Developer to join our team on a contract basis (Inside IR35).
Required experience:
- Technical Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in Java and Kotlin development, demonstrated within large-scale, production environments.
- Team Leadership: Strong team lead background with significant experience coaching, mentoring, and leading senior and junior developers.
- Architecture & Design: Proven track record of designing, implementing, and overhauling complex software architectures from inception to delivery, advising on long-term technology roadmaps.
- Testing & Quality: Deep understanding and practical experience with modern testing methodologies, including TDD and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD), and experience with frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Version Control: Handsβon experience with GitLab or similar modern distributed version control and CI/CD tools.
