We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud / Dev Ops Engineer for contract position supporting a high-profile, enterprise-scale client within the financial services sector.

You will be stepping into an established environment to take ownership of custom-built automation code and deployment pipelines designed to simplify and accelerate development.

Beyond the technical scope, you will act as a key technical facilitator-navigating enterprise processes, sitting on the production changes review board, and presenting innovative solutions to various cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Strong cloud engineering and architectural experience, ideally with AWS.
  • Deep expertise with Terraform.
  • Hands on experience building and optimizing Git Lab pipelines.
  • Robust knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Experience managing Elasticsearch / Open Search clusters.
  • Solid foundations in Linux Administration.
  • Experience navigating complex internal processes and ecosystems within large-scale corporate environments.
  • Confidence presenting technical solutions to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
  • Experience participating in change management or production review boards is highly desirable.

  • Take ownership of existing custom code and pipelines that significantly accelerate development and infrastructure deployments.
  • Act as a core member of the Production Changes Review Board, ensuring high quality, stable deployments.
  • Present infrastructure and Dev Ops solutions clearly to various internal engineering and product teams.
  • Quickly adapt to and navigate a complex enterprise ecosystem, understanding internal processes to unblock development teams.
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure.
