About the Role

We are looking for a tech‑savvy Data & Automation Specialist who can help connect data infrastructure with media performance. You will work alongside our Data Science and Engineering teams to help build and maintain data‑driven tools that automate and optimise media campaigns across major platforms. This is a hands‑on, execution‑focused role perfect for someone who loves SQL, data extraction, and using the latest AI tools to speed up workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pull and analyze data from relational databases using SQL to see how media campaigns and algorithms are performing.
  • Help implement and support automated, ML‑driven tools designed to optimize media spend across ad platforms.
  • Use agentic AI tools (like Claude Code) to help query codebases and automate routine technical tasks.
  • Help turn business requests into clear technical documentation, system specs, and user stories for the engineering team.
  • Work daily with Data Science and Engineering teams to help troubleshoot data issues and keep projects moving forward.

Qualifications

  • Strong SQL skills and experience using database tools like DataGrip.
  • Familiarity with major digital ad platforms (Google, Meta, Amazon, etc.) and how data drives them.
  • Comfort using or a strong desire to learn developer‑focused AI tools (eg, Claude Code) to build skills and automate workflows.
  • Ability to look at numbers, measure performance uplifts, and write clear technical notes.
  • Good communication skills to act as the bridge between business requests and tech teams.
