The Associate Engineer – Diffusion, Implant, and Wet Processes role supports critical front-end wafer fabrication steps that directly impact device performance, reliability, and yield. This position focuses on equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as well as basic process control/monitoring of Diffusion (LPCVD, Oxidation), Implant (Medium and High Current), Wet process (wet bench, single wafer processing) as well as film thickness metrology tool. The Associate Engineer collaborates closely with senior engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams to resolve process issues, implement continuous improvements, and ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and cleanroom standards. This role is well suited for individuals seeking to develop hands-on equipment troubleshooting skills as well as basic to intermediate process knowledge in semiconductor wafer fabrication processes.
Your Job:
- Carry out equipment PM according to plan PM schedule
- Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and repair equipment
- Work on improvement projects to assure continuous reliability of production equipment and processes to achieve high equipment productivity and low downtime
- Key-in / review SPC data for all defined equipment critical parameters
- Support equipment installation and commissioning during plan startup phase
- Perform other duties as assigned. Duties will vary according to the project progress and/or the specific goals of the division.
- Support DIW PAT daily day to day line activities
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma / ITE Hi-Nitec (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical)
- Minimum 2 years working experience in electronic production environment—preferably from wafer fab and with basic equipment & process knowledge and with an eye for detail
- Must be able to work on 12 hours rotating shift
- MS Office literate
- SPC knowledge
