Role Description:
This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Student Counselor, based in Chennai. The Student Counselor will provide guidance and support to students, assisting them in making informed decisions about their academic and career goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting one‑on‑one counseling sessions, addressing student concerns, delivering career coaching, maintaining records, and collaborating with educational institutions.
High level of interpersonal skills and the ability to support students with empathy and professionalism is required.
Qualifications:
- Skills in student counseling and career counseling to effectively guide students in academic and career‑related decisions.
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills to build rapport with students and address their needs professionally.
- Background in education or related fields to provide informed and accurate guidance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and educational institutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in counseling, education, psychology, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Prior experience in a student‑focused advisory or counseling role is an advantage.
