About The Role

Due to a high demand in delivery of flowline work, PD&MS Group have a requirement for a structural engineer to come on board on a full-time ongoing contract basis. This role can be based in our Aberdeen or Glasgow office on a flexible hybrid working model where two days per week can be worked remotely. We are seeking candidates with previous experience in brownfield pipe support design incorporating bolted connections. Experience in use of STAAD Pro is essential.

Key Duties

  • Identify the scope of work required
  • Input to project plans and schedules
  • Identify areas of concern during any project or study
  • Produce cost-effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value to address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution
  • Supervise the time of others

About You

Our ideal candidate will enjoy team working, will be customer and quality focused, can use their own initiative and will be responsive to our business and client needs. We’d like you to have a degree in a relevant subject and significant previous experience in detail design with an understanding of other disciplines. You need to have some experience and an interest in working with AutoDesk products.
