PD&MS Group is looking for a Senior C&I Designer to join our team in Aberdeen or Glasgow on a full‑time, ongoing contract basis. We offer a flexible hybrid working model where two days per week can be worked remotely.
This role offers the opportunity to work on both new and existing projects, creating bespoke, safe, and cost‑effective engineering solutions for clients in the energy sector. If you are passionate about design, have energy‑industry experience, or possess transferable skills, we would love to hear from you.
Key Duties- Creates and checks engineering designs.
- Ensures designs meet project requirements.
- Provides input to project plans.
- Identifies areas of concern during any project or study.
- Produces cost‑effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe, and add value.
- Addresses operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaises with colleagues for the best solution.
- Undertakes surveys, both onshore and offshore (not essential).
Our ideal candidate will enjoy team working, be customer and quality focused, use their own initiative and be responsive to business and client needs. You should also enjoy coaching and mentoring others. We would like you to have an HND in a relevant subject and previous experience in detail design with an awareness of other disciplines. You need to be competent and have an interest in working with AutoDesk design products.
