We are seeking a driven strategy finance strategy intern with a passion for online media to join our London team. This internship offers the opportunity to influence how GlobalDrum will scale as an agent for change in redistributing the benefits of social media.

As a Strategy Finance Intern, you will support the market development team in researching trends, identifying and valuing opportunities, identifying M&A opportunities, and developing new business models to influence future product development and briefings to shape our narrative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Value brand social audiences to focus business development activities.
  • Conduct analysis on brand social audience valuations.
  • Monitor evolving regulation and emerging business models.
  • Developing strategic briefs for continued product development.
  • Support the creation of presentations and reports for internal and client-facing use.
  • Contribute ideas during brainstorms and strategy development sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Current MBA student or recent graduate in Finance, Business or a related field, with a strong interest in corporate development and M&A in the digital media sector.
  • Excellent research, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Curious, analytical, and able to think both creatively and strategically.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Accounting experience.
  • An active interest in the online media sector.
  • Experience with social listening or marketing tools like Sprinklr, Brandwatch, or similar.
  • Interest in specific verticals (media, data, eCommerce, rights holders).
