Job Description: Our Digital Marketing Director will:

  • Contribute to the continued evolution of the GlobalDrum platform.
  • Ensure our business partners get the benefits of the GlobalDrum platform to own, understand, and monetise their most engaged social audiences.
  • Ensure that GlobalDrum is understood by our key stakeholders: business partners, investors, and the best and brightest talent available.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach distributed development teams to enhance GlobalDrum's capabilities in audience acquisition, engagement, retention, and advocacy.
  • Pioneer new ways for GlobalDrum to engage with customers digitally, utilising a real-time data-driven approach using key insights from digital interactions to drive future growth.
  • Identify current and future trends to ensure that our digital marketing strategy is fresh by staying up to date with the latest innovations, technologies, changes in competition, and shifts in the digital landscape.
  • Contribute to process improvements, automation, and technology onboarding to improve and scale marketing programmes.
  • Use data from brands to measure impact and provide recommendations for future action and investment.

Qualifications:

  • A digital leader with a track record of market-led innovation and a good understanding of digital business models and technology advances.
  • A visionary who relishes working with brand partners to advise on digital campaigns that engage, inform, and deliver results.
  • Proven success in a high-growth, rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience directing, coaching, and growing a marketing team.
  • 5+ years of B2B/C experience preferably in the SaaS, AdTech, Subscription, and eCommerce sectors.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • 5-10 years of digital marketing experience, including a deep understanding of website operations, SEM/SEO, social media, paid digital media, reporting, and insights.
  • Experience in user experience and website optimisation, usability studies, and A/B testing.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the digital landscape, with the ability to identify best-in-class solutions.

Soft skills:

  • Strong communicator and collaborator.
  • Excellent at working across teams, geographies, in a cross-functional setup, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail whilst keeping top-level objectives in focus.
  • Excellent quantitative analysis skills, with an intuitive mind and great problem-solving skills.
  • Able to set priorities, communicate these clearly, and integrate feedback as and when the business needs to pivot.
