In this Senior Conference Producer role within Arena International Events Group, you will shape and own compelling consumer-focused agendas for international B2B conferences. You’ll leverage GlobalData’s data and market insights to identify trends and opportunities, building engaging content for executives and sponsors. You will collaborate closely with sales and marketing to maximise commercial impact and will travel internationally to run events on site. Responsibilities
- Conduct primary market research and extract insights from proprietary data to identify trends and opportunities
- Turn findings into original, relevant conference agendas and promotional copy
- Build relationships with senior leaders across brands, manufacturers, retailers, and industry bodies
- Recruit high-quality speakers through multiple channels (email, social media, video calls, in-person)
- Introduce fresh topics, formats and engaging speakers to the portfolio
- Develop events with clear value for delegates and sponsors
- Collaborate with sponsorship and delegate sales teams to support commercial growth
- Prepare and deliver sponsorship and marketing briefs; create client-facing agendas and promotional materials
- Contribute to new product development and launches aligned with market trends
- Manage events within budgets to support profitability and on-site delivery excellence
- Create content for pre/post event needs (website, social posts, reports)
Key requirements
- At least three years’ experience in B2B conference production or similar (e.g., journalism)
- Proven track record in researching markets, developing agendas and recruiting senior speakers
- Experience working with sponsorship and delegate sales teams to grow commercial events
- Evidence of developing new ideas, improving existing events or contributing to launches
- Strong writing, communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and own events from research to on-site delivery
- Interest in consumer market dynamics including tastes, product innovation, sustainability and technology
- Experience with international events or markets is an advantage
