The role… We are looking for an organised and creative Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing Executive in delivering marketing activity across Broadcast and Broadcast Intelligence subscriptions and events. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in B2B marketing, gaining hands-on experience across email marketing, social media, digital content and CRM. You'll play an important role in executing day-to-day marketing activity, helping to keep campaigns running smoothly while ensuring all communications are on-brand and delivered to a high standard.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Support the Marketing Executive with the delivery of marketing campaigns across email, social media and digital channels.
  • Build, proof and schedule marketing emails using the company's email marketing platform (Campaign Monitor).
  • Create and resize digital marketing assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite for social media, email and website use.
  • Schedule and publish content across company social media channels, ensuring posts are aligned with the content calendar and brand guidelines.
  • Assist with creating engaging social media copy to promote editorial content, subscriptions, events and commercial activity.
  • Build, maintain and cleanse prospect and customer databases to support marketing campaigns and lead generation.
  • Research and source prospect data to support the sales team and audience growth initiatives.
  • Update website content and marketing materials as required.
  • Monitor campaign performance and prepare basic reports on email and social media engagement.
  • Assist with the production of marketing collateral, including flyers, presentations and promotional materials.
  • Support the marketing team with the promotion of events, webinars and industry conferences.
  • Liaise with editorial, sales and design teams to ensure marketing activity is delivered accurately and on time.
  • Carry out general marketing administration and provide support across the wider marketing function as required.

What we’re looking for…

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 1-2 years marketing experience, preferably in B2B or consumer publishing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Creative eye for design and content.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Great communication skills and team-player attitude.
