Senior Conference Producer in London

Arena International Events Group, part of GlobalData, runs over 60 international B2B conferences every year, with a dynamic calendar of events that is always evolving. Our portfolio spans three main industry sectors – Financial Services, Consumer and Technology – taking place in three primary regions: Europe, USA and Asia.

What you'll be doing

• Use primary market research and GlobalData's proprietary data to inform cutting‐edge agendas, demonstrating good writing skills and writing compelling copy to promote the agenda's benefits.
• Recruit quality, senior speakers via multiple channels, including email, social, video conference calls and in‐person meetings, within best practice timeframes and meeting KPIs.
• Generate new topic ideas and recruit inspirational speakers, reconceptualise formats to ensure quality, interactive, commercial products that provide unrivalled value to delegates and sponsors.
• Support the sales team to hit and exceed financial objectives, demonstrating a commercial mindset when writing agendas, during client prospecting, onboarding and management.
• Prepare full sponsorship sales and marketing briefs, communicating them clearly and collaborating with the wider team on client‐facing agendas and media packs.
• Actively contribute to portfolio schedules with well‐validated product launches that respond to market trends and complement the portfolio.
• Ensure the profitability of events meets event budgets and controls overall costs.
• Run international conferences professionally on site, dealing with sponsors, speakers and delegates alike.
• Provide pre‐ and post‐conference content, reports and summaries for event websites, social channels and emails.

What we're looking for

• A minimum of seven years working in B2B conferences and commercial production.
• A track record of contributing to the growth of event series by working closely with sponsorship and delegate sales teams and helping them hit and exceed targets.
• Evidence of generating new ideas for events and successfully producing launch conferences.
• Experience working in international markets.
• An understanding of technological advances impacting global industries, and how business transformation is enabled by cutting‐edge tech.
