GlobalData Healthcare is the leading intelligence provider for Pharma, Biotech and Medical Device companies, helping them decode markets, outmanoeuvre competitors, and reach more customers. Arena International Events Group is the specialist event and intelligence brand within GlobalData, focused exclusively on the clinical trials industry. We run 25 world‑class events each year across Europe, the US and APAC, bringing together clinical trial leaders from pharma, biotech and CROs to share knowledge, solve operational challenges and build meaningful partnerships.

This is a high‑ownership marketing role for someone who wants to build and run campaigns, not just execute tasks. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end marketing of Arena's event portfolio across three regions, working independently to plan, launch and optimise campaigns that drive delegate registrations and commercial sponsorship for 25 events per year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign planning and execution
  • Build and own the campaign plan for 25 events per year across EU, US and APAC
  • Develop phased, multi‑channel campaigns from initial launch through to on‑site — covering email, LinkedIn Ads and organic, press releases and editorial
  • Tailor messaging and targeting to distinct audience personas: clinical ops leaders, supply chain professionals, CROs and specialist vendors
  • Coordinate campaign sequencing across Marketing, Delegate Sales and Production
  • Lead generation and commercial support
  • Drive delegate registrations and sponsor acquisition through targeted outreach and content‑led campaigns
  • Partner with Sales to align campaign activity with pipeline goals and account‑level targeting
  • Manage HubSpot workflows and list segmentation for event‑specific campaigns
  • Track, report and present campaign performance metrics
  • Content and messaging
  • Develop compelling event copy and promotional content grounded in Arena's value proposition
  • Produce LinkedIn content that leads with insight and stakes
  • Brief and coordinate with design, PR and editorial where needed
  • Maintain consistency with GlobalData Healthcare brand standards across all channels
  • On‑site and cross‑functional
  • Attend events on‑site across the UK, US and APAC, supporting on‑ground activation and building direct relationships with delegates and sponsors
  • Act as the marketing point of contact for Production, Delegate Sales and external suppliers during event build and delivery phases
  • Feed post‑event insights back into the campaign planning cycle

Essential

  • 3+ years' experience in B2B marketing, with demonstrable ownership of campaigns from brief to delivery
  • Proven track record running event marketing campaigns (registrations, delegate acquisition, or sponsorship support)
  • Strong working knowledge of HubSpot or equivalent marketing automation platform
  • Confident planning and managing multi‑channel, multi‑market campaigns simultaneously
  • Excellent written communication: clear, direct, audience‑aware copy across email, LinkedIn and web
  • Comfortable working independently, setting priorities, and managing competing deadlines without close supervision
  • Data‑driven: able to interrogate campaign metrics and translate them into clear reporting for stakeholders

Desirable

  • Experience in Life Sciences, pharma or healthcare B2B marketing
  • Familiarity with clinical trials, CROs, or regulated industry environments
  • Exposure to paid LinkedIn advertising and campaign optimisation
  • Experience coordinating cross‑functional campaign activity (Sales, Production, Delegate teams)
  • Comfortable presenting campaign performance to senior internal stakeholders
