The epidemiologist position is a great opportunity for a motivated university graduate, postdoctoral associate or early career professional to develop an in-depth understanding of the healthcare industry.
What You’ll Be Doing…
- Review data from a variety of sources (e.g. published research articles, survey data, cancer registries) to produce descriptive and analytical epidemiology reports for major drug indications.
- Produce epidemiological reports focusing on the prevalence of specific diseases for primarily G7 and BRIC countries, as well as ad hoc reports for additional countries as required.
- Monitor and maintain the quality and integrity of the company’s state‑of‑the‑art epidemiology database.
- Review and enhance the company’s epidemiology database to ensure accuracy and relevance to the indications covered.
- Liaise with and/or support other company units in developing new products and completing global consulting projects.
- Support the sales team on an ad hoc basis.
What We’re Looking For…
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Epidemiology or closely‑related field.
- 1-3 years’ experience in epidemiological forecasting.
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and one or more statistical packages (SAS, STATA, SPSS).
- Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written.
