Role
The Aerospace, Defence & Security (ADS) unit within GlobalData is looking for an Analyst with a passion for the industry, a good level of existing knowledge and a broad qualitative and quantitative skill set. It would particularly suit someone looking to develop at pace and gain exposure to the industry.
Based at our London office, you will report to a Senior Analyst as well as liaise with research, analysis, sales and support staff across our global offices.
Recent graduates will be considered but must demonstrate an exceptional work ethic, highly relevant skills and a proactive and positive attitude.
This exciting position will directly contribute to the provision of high quality, actionable intelligence to global aerospace, defence and security industries.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Be assigned primarily to our Countries and Strategic Intelligence research streams
- Liaise with our customers, under the direction of Senior Analysts
- Contribute to custom research and consultancy projects on an ad-hoc basis
- Timely production of commentary articles on topical market events
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrable interest in Aerospace and Defense
- Fast and proactive learner – able to understand new ideas quickly and actively seek development
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills
- Able to work from our London office.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint essential.
- Familiarity with AI tools, data analysis and visualization highly desirable.
