Team & Role Profile

GlobalBlock is building out its sales team, and looking for a sales‑motivated, hungry and tenacious individual to assist in driving new client acquisition. This role will provide an excellent opportunity to be a part of a small sales team and develop over time into a more senior sales and/or trading role as the company grows and as success is achieved. The right candidate will be based mainly from our London office but with opportunity to also work from home.

Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition & Growth
    • Identify, develop and win new corporates, as well as HNWI/large retail clients.
    • Work to network and connect to these clients through areas such as IFAs, fund managers, wealth managers, accountants and family offices.
    • Source and develop new partnership opportunities to drive new business avenues and opportunities.
    • Prepare compelling pitches to prospective clients, showcasing GlobalBlock’s competitive advantages.
    • Represent GlobalBlock at industry marketing events and conferences, building brand presence and pipeline.
  • Revenue & Market Share
    • Support and implement targeted sales strategies to accelerate market penetration.
    • Drive revenue growth by converting high‑value opportunities.
    • Build comprehensive knowledge of GlobalBlock’s full product suite and capabilities as well as develop a deeper understanding of GCEX full product suite in order to cross sell or identify relevant opportunities.
    • Cross sell GlobalBlock services to existing GCEX lead opportunities as well as re‑engage with existing client data with initiatives to generate revenue opportunities.
  • Collaboration & Excellence
    • Partner closely with internal stakeholders – including trading, operations, technology, marketing and product teams – to ensure clients receive first‑class service at every stage.
    • Provide support to the GlobalBlock trading team to deliver the best service possible to clients.
    • Actively manage our sales pipeline within the CRM.
    • Support the Sales Team in the day‑to‑day management of administrative tasks.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our sales processes and client experience.

What You’ll Need For This Role

  • Experience in a B2B and/or B2C sales role.
  • An ability to confidently articulate financial solutions.
  • An understanding of the Crypto markets and financial products is preferred.
  • Drive & ambition to develop in sales, meet and exceed targets and maximise earnings.
  • A strong client focus and level of professionalism.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work to stringent deadlines.
  • Ability to partner with colleagues across functions and lead effectively across geographical boundaries.
  • Proficiency in another language is preferred but not essential.

Remuneration

A basic salary of £24,000 + Commission (Yr 1 exp total of circa £40 k)
