Job Overview

The Digital Marketing Manager ensures consistent and compelling brand positioning across all channels, while aligning marketing efforts with overall business objectives. You will have a strong passion for education, combined with a solid marketing background. This position plays a critical role in advancing GBS’s mission to deliver impactful educational solutions across diverse sectors and audiences.

What the Role Involves

  • Paid Media & Digital Campaign Management: Lead, manage, and optimise multi‑channel digital marketing campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube), LinkedIn Ads, and Meta (Facebook & Instagram) to drive high‑quality leads and maximise ROI.
  • Paid Media Strategy Development: Develop and implement the overarching paid media strategy aligned with organisational brand positioning and student recruitment objectives.
  • Budget Management & ROI Optimisation: Manage campaign budgets effectively to maximise ROI, cost‑efficiency, and overall campaign performance.
  • Audience Targeting & Segmentation: Design and execute precise targeting strategies to reach mid‑career professionals and senior‑level decision‑makers across relevant industries.
  • Creative Development & Copywriting: Create compelling ad copy and collaborate with design and content teams to produce high‑impact, conversion‑focused creatives.
  • Budget & Vendor Management: Manage marketing budgets and relationships with external agencies, designers, and media partners to ensure cost‑effective and high‑quality delivery.
  • Centralised Marketing Content Management: Establish and manage a single source of truth for all marketing content, assets, and campaign materials. Oversee marketing asset libraries and DAM systems to ensure consistency, version control, and compliance.
  • Brand Management: Strengthen and maintain consistent brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all communication channels and touchpoints.
  • Lead Nurturing Alignment: Work closely with internal stakeholders to align paid media campaigns with lead follow‑up strategies and email marketing initiatives to improve conversion rates.
  • Data Analysis & Visualisation: Utilise Power BI to monitor channel performance, lead quality, and conversion trends to support data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Tracking & Attribution Management: Implement and manage campaign tracking, attribution models, and audience segmentation using tools such as Salesforce CRM, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
  • Market Trends & Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest paid media trends, tools, and best practices to maintain a competitive advantage.

About You

  • Paid Media Expertise: Substantial experience managing campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Meta platforms.
  • Strategic & Performance Focus: Proven ability to lead paid marketing initiatives and deliver measurable outcomes such as improved ROI, CPL, and conversions.
  • Audience Targeting Experience: Experience targeting professional audiences, ideally within education, training, or industry‑specific sectors.
  • Data & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and reporting capabilities with hands‑on experience using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, CRM, and Power BI.
  • Communication & Copywriting: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling marketing messages.
  • Project Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross‑functional and international teams.
