Reporting of the Role: This role reports to the Senior Managing Editor - LBC.
Overview of job: LBC is seeking an experienced and dynamic Deputy Managing Editor to join our leadership team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the content and delivery of our programming, working closely with presenters to create the most compelling and engaging speech radio. You will assist the Managing Editor in evolving and elevating LBC's editorial proposition, ensuring our content resonates with audiences and maintains our reputation for excellence.

What you will need: The ideal candidate will be proactive and willing to develop and implement innovative solutions, capable of the following:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a broadcasting environment, with a strong focus on agenda-setting editorial content and working with leading presenters.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with on-air talent and other editorial staff.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural feel for fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
- Strong understanding of digital media and audience engagement strategies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to work to tight deadlines.
