About the Role
We’re looking for a sharp, fast-moving Video Journalist to join Global’s content team, reporting into the Group Head of Photo and Video. This is a hands-on role at the centre of our newsroom operation, sourcing and producing compelling video content that reaches millions across Global’s portfolio of brands, including LBC, Capital, Classic FM, Radio X, Smooth, Gold, and more. You’ll be responsible for identifying, clearing, editing, and publishing newsworthy video content - from breaking news clips to engaging long-form features - ensuring everything is accurate, rights-compliant, and tailored for digital audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Source timely, relevant, and high-impact video content from a variety of platforms and agencies
- Clear video rights quickly and effectively, ensuring full compliance with copyright and licensing requirements
