The Commercial Marketing team helps bring our brands, products and commercial opportunities to life for agencies and clients through events, activations and communications. This role supports the Commercial Marketing leadership team in planning and hosting top-tier Global-owned events and activations for our Commercial audiences and key industry moments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and Roadmap (25%)
    • Shape an events and activation plan that brings Global’s commercial story to life across Radio, Outdoor, Global Studios and DAX in a creative, clear and compelling way.
    • Develop a clear plan to service different audience and market segments.
    • Support the Commercial Marketing Lead in communications and negotiations with external suppliers and events.
  • Project Management & Delivery (50%)
    • Own work streams or end-to-end activations, from brief to delivery, ensuring timelines, stakeholders and outputs stay on track.
    • Lead the planning and delivery of client-facing events, hosted experiences, trade activity and internal Sales launches.
    • Work closely with Commercial Design, Communications, Marketing and Sales teams to deliver joined-up activity.
    • Manage multiple projects and work streams simultaneously, balancing deadlines, budgets and stakeholder feedback.
    • Secure and manage talent at events.
  • Administration & Reporting (25%)
    • Agree clear objectives and success measures upfront, track campaign and event performance and share ROI insights.
    • Proactively implement learnings from previous campaigns.
    • Support budget tracking, supplier management and general project administration, including maintaining a clear log of activity and progress for Legal, Finance and other teams.
    • Maintain an up-to-date Preferred Supplier List to improve efficiency.
    • Ensure activity is delivered to a high standard and in line with Global brand guidelines and processes.

  • Took ownership of key projects, delivering them smoothly from planning through to execution with excellent project management and communication.
  • Supported the creation of high-quality B2B marketing content and events that engage clients and agencies.
  • Helped improve ways of working across planning, delivery and reporting.

What You’ll Need

  • Experience in Commercial or Trade Marketing, B2B marketing or events.
  • Confidence in your project management skillset with outstanding organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience delivering events, activations or campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and last-minute adjustments.
  • Strong written communication skills for presentations, event invites and communications.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with different points of view and keep projects moving at pace.
  • A proactive, positive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and confidence working with a range of teams and seniority levels.
  • Comfortable working with budgets, timelines, reporting and campaign administration.
  • A strong interest in media, advertising and how brands connect with audiences.
  • Experience across Radio, Outdoor, Podcasts, Video or Digital media is a bonus but not essential.
