Job Description
TfL Fastflow Media Value Lead
Your Role: TfL Fastflow Value Lead
You will lead the day-to-day delivery of TfL's Fastflow media-value arrangement across TfL Rail and Bus. Reporting to the Outdoor Product Director, you will be the central link between clients, TfL and Global teams, ensuring activity is accurately tracked, correctly booked and delivered on time.
It is the Outdoor Product team's collective responsibility to improve the commercial, operational and procedural outputs to deliver against Global Outdoor's business requirements. The Product team is responsible for collectively devising strategy across Global's Outdoor products and ensuring effective implementation of these strategies. We achieve this by acting as the core conduit between all relevant departments, maintaining a holistic view of each Product's strategy and the wider Commercial Outdoor Vision, Mission and Purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Fastflow tracking and value management: Maintain an accurate live tracker of booked and remaining value, including media, production and posting costs. Reconcile figures with Wavemaker, identify opportunities to maximise the allocation, and flag risks early.
- Coordinate campaign delivery: Confirm availability and delivery across sites, dates and formats. Work with Outdoor Projects & Service, Commercial Ad Ops, Outdoor Planning and Production/Posting teams to resolve issues and keep campaigns moving.
- Lead the Wavemaker relationship: Act as the trusted first point of contact for requests, queries and problem-solving. Shape requests into clear, deliverable activity and provide servicing, campaign photography and post-campaign analysis where required.
- Drive planning and governance: Chair the weekly Fastflow status meeting and set clear agendas and actions. Organise quarterly planning sessions linked to GPF and an annual creative session, bringing together relevant departments to develop practical ideas.
- Maintain the arrangement: Keep Fastflow terms and conditions current as costs and processes change. Use sound judgement on requests and escalate decisions requiring senior or contractual input.
- Wider TfL Involvement: Support the wider Product team on TfL related initiatives to ensure our contract promises are met, and we continue to maximise the commercial value of the estate.
What You'll Love About This Role
- Think Big: Help TfL make the most of a significant media allocation to support campaigns that matter to London.
- Own It: Take responsibility for accurate tracking, clear processes and dependable campaign delivery.
- Keep it Simple: Bring clarity to complex requests, competing priorities and operational detail.
- Better Together: Build trusted relationships across TfL, Wavemaker and Global's specialist teams.
What Success Looks Like
- In your first few months, you'll have built a strong understanding of Fastflow, TfL's advertising environment and Global's delivery processes.
- Established an accurate, reconciled tracker that gives all parties confidence in the available value.
- Developed effective working relationships with Wavemaker, TfL and internal delivery teams.
- Led weekly meetings that produce clear decisions, actions and momentum.
- Supported well-planned, deliverable campaigns and identified risks or opportunities early.
What You'll Need
- Outdoor media knowledge: An understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, Outdoor media, TfL environments and Global's booking, production and posting processes.
- Financial and operational accuracy: Confidence managing detailed trackers, reconciling information and handling media-value, production and posting costs.
- Stakeholder management: Experience managing agency or client relationships, ideally within media, advertising or campaign delivery.
- Planning and problem-solving: Ability to spot issues early, coordinate solutions across teams and manage changing priorities.
- Organisation and communication: Strong attention to detail, clear communication and experience leading recurring meetings and planning cycles.
