Accepting applications until: 4 July 2025 Job Description Senior Development Lead Your new role As part of the Roadside Partnerships management team, you’ll be responsible for designing and implementing the strategy for the development of our roadside estate, with particular focus on identifying new site opportunities and renewing major contracts at the right commercial deals. As a Senior Development Lead at Global, you’ll wear multiple hats – combining your passion for identifying brilliant advertising locations with your commercial mindset to tender for and negotiate portfolio deals. You’ll work with asset partners and landlords across the country, driving new deals and renewals from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities • Site Renewals (50%) : Lead negotiations with existing partners, including Large Format Digital landlords and Small Format Major Accounts, adhering to agreed commercial parameters whilst striving to continually improve our profitability • Site Development (40%) : Develop and execute the strategy to build a sustainable and profitable roadside offering (large and small format) across the UK, building relationships with key landlords, both private and public • Tender responses (10%) : Ensure Global are informed of all roadside advertising tenders that fit with our strategy and lead responses, drawing on information and support from across the business What You’ll Love About This Role Think Big : Every day is an opportunity to push boundaries, working across departments, internally and externally to bring fresh ideas to life Own It : Take charge of projects from start to finish, identifying, negotiating and onboarding new Roadside sites Keep it Simple : Design and imbed effective processes and governance regarding the end-to- end development strategy Better Together : Collaborate with a dynamic team across Partnerships and Operations, reporting to key stakeholders and managing resources effectively and efficiently What Success Looks Like In your first few months, you’ll have: • Developed relationships with key councils and landowners to assist in identifying site development opportunities • Developed relationships with expired / expiring key Large Format Digital landlords and Small Format Major Accounts to successfully negotiate commercial terms in line with wider Roadside strategy • Improved our average rental value per panel for our Roadside estate • Achieved a strong success rate in tender applications • Built strong relationships with internal teams, from Planning to Operations and Programmes and beyond, managing end to end development processes What You’ll Need • Strong Communication : Strong verbal and written communication for dealing with landlords, councils, and internal stakeholders. Ability to clearly articulate contract terms and business value. • Negotiation Skills : Ability to negotiate favourable terms for leases, licenses, and advertising rights. Understanding of strategies to close deals that benefit the company whilst maintaining good relationships, deploying conflict resolution and persuasive communication where required. • Project Management Skills : Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Ongoing oversight of timelines, deadlines, and contract milestones whilst co-ordinating between legal, sales, finance, operations and partnerships to onboard and offload sites. • Attention to Detail : Meticulousness in ensuring tender responses are informative, polished and on- brand. Familiarity with contracts, leases, and property rights ensuring precision when drafting, reviewing, and managing contract documents, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies. • Commercial mindset : Ability to evaluate rental parameters given site lifetime value. Wider research to assess audience delivery, visibility, and location effectiveness. Awareness of competitors and market trends. • Flexibility & Positivity : A can-do attitude to manage different projects and deliver top results. #J-18808-Ljbffr
