Your New Role: Publicist

We're looking for an experienced publicist to join the communications team at Global. As a Publicist, you'll generate high profile, impactful press coverage for Global's entertainment brands and initiatives, including Heart, Capital, Radio X, Official Big Top 40 by Global, Global Player, Global Original podcasts and Global's Make Some Noise. You'll be working with A-list talent on world famous brands in a wide and varied role.

As a Publicist at Global, you will:

  • Support the Head of Publicity on publicity for Capital, Heart and Radio X and Global's entertainment podcasts.
  • Work with the Head of Publicity and Programming teams to generate ideas to drive coverage, and respond quickly to show content to maximise coverage.
  • Work on publicity plans for, and media management at, some of Global's live events.
  • Lead the PR activity for your brands on the annual campaign for Global's charity, Global's Make Some Noise.
  • Develop messaging and media materials such as press releases, media alerts.
  • Organise and oversee photoshoots.
  • Build and nurture relationships with journalists at target media outlets and with key internal and external stakeholders.
