Job Description
Reporting to the Programme Delivery Director, Global Outdoor, the Project Manager TfL role will have overall responsibility for delivering a variety of contractor-delivered build and refresh projects across Global Outdoor’s digital estate, particularly focusing on transport partner environments such as Transport for London (TfL).
The Project Manager will be accountable for the delivery and management of all assigned projects on time, within budget, to scope, and in line with safety requirements.
This role emphasizes integrating digital advertising into the new TfL Elizabeth line infrastructure, requiring attention to detail, technical understanding, and engagement.
This role will collaborate closely with colleagues in Partnerships, Operations, Safety, Engineering, and Programmes, supported by the Outdoor Programme Management Office.
The owner of successful project delivery will contribute to the growth and enhancement of the Global Outdoor estate, aiming for high standards in project delivery and digital displays.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver projects within budget, scope, and safety standards, complying with Global and CDM regulations 2015.
- Operate within NEC4 construction contract frameworks, ensuring effective administration.
- Conduct site visits across the TfL estate (including during engineering/night hours) to ensure build compliance.
- Understand project objectives and ensure delivery of critical success criteria.
- Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to optimize costs, negotiate contracts, and monitor contractor performance.
- Follow appropriate project management controls and partner assurance pathways.
- Ensure engineering compliance through checks and approvals.
- Manage and report project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain high-quality project documentation aligned with requirements and partner methodologies.
- Oversee asset handover into operation, ensuring operational acceptance.
- Build positive relationships with stakeholders and contractors, managing site engagement and safety (HSEQ).

What You’ll Need
- Experience: 3+ years in project management or CAPEX project delivery, preferably in construction, engineering, or digital sectors.
- Experience with fitout and finishing is desirable.
- Experience managing construction installation and commissioning, ideally in rail or TfL projects.
- Managing contractors and suppliers within NEC3/4 or similar contracts.
- Knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations and safety management.
- Practical project management skills, ideally certified (e.g., Prince2).
- Familiarity with project management software (MS Project, Primavera) and MS Office.
- Experience with project cost control and budgeting.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and risk management capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
