About the role:

Global Studios is an exciting new focus for Global - where all podcasts, both audio and video led shows, exist under the Global Studios umbrella brand. Global Studios is already home to some of the UK's leading shows such as The News Agents, The Sports Agents, My Therapist Ghosted Me, Stick To Football, The Fellas, Saving Grace, and many more. At Global Studios, we have huge ambitions to grow this brand - increasing our content and the revenue we generate.

In this role you will be responsible for driving revenue and raising awareness of our Podcast portfolio within your assigned agencies to ensure podcasts are a key consideration from Global's commercial portfolio. Also key is helping develop and deliver high quality pitches and inspiration sessions, as well as supporting the wider Agency hubs in delivering sales collateral.

As a Partnerships Manager at Global Studios, you'll:

  • Establish a clear, strong and collaborative working relationship with other members of your agency hub.
  • Input towards your agency hub strategy collaboratively to ensure you and the hub team can identify the key contacts and teams to target, pitch to and win business from.
  • Learn about, become familiar with, and subsequently sell, all ad formats across the Global Studios offering - spot, host reads, headline sponsorships, branded content - in audio, video & social.
  • Work with the wider Global Studios support team including branded content, business development, to pitch desirable campaign ideas.
  • Work closely with Global's wider Partnership team to identify potential opportunities that will be Global Studios led, or can include Global Studios on a Global led response.
  • Understand the wider Global business, and where relevant, include opportunities outside Global Studios.
  • Sell campaigns that are deliverable, and work with the Campaign Delivery team to ensure they are delivered smoothly from start to finish.
  • Strive to hit and exceed your agency hub target - and subsequently help in hitting the wider Global Studios Revenue target.
  • Be out in market, building relationships, pitching and presenting as much as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brief Responses & Driving Revenue (70%): Apply your knowledge of Global Studio's offering to provide relevant solutions for briefs and development of proactive ideas.
  • Internal Collaboration (10%): Work with Senior Partnership Managers, Planners, Agency Managers and Global Strategists to ensure that you are involved in all relevant client and agency briefings/pitches/inspiration sessions for podcasts.
  • Expertise & Ownership (10%): Deliver effective internal and external communication to ensure you are best placed to provide expert knowledge on Global Studios at all times.
  • Creating brief responses, tailored decks (10%): With help from your planner, and support from marketing, Insights and Design, create GTM materials that you are proud to share & present.

What You'll Love About This Role:

  • Think Big: Every day is an opportunity to push boundaries, working across your agency hub and other GS departments to bring fresh ideas to life.
  • Own It: Take responsibility to deliver your targets, be resilient - but seek help when needed.
  • Keep it Simple: Never over complicate our sell - sell what is easy to deliver, so your time & stress levels are well balanced.
  • Better Together: Adopt the Global Studios culture where we collaborate, share expertise, and be respectful of all others in doing so.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Played a key role in delivering the ad revenue target across your agency hub, and subsequently, the wider Global Studios ad revenue target.
  • Learned how to sell all formats within our shows - spot, host reads, sponsorship, branded content across audio, social & video.

  • Demonstrated a deep knowledge of the ever-evolving podcast market and identified opportunities of growth within our portfolio.
  • Embraced our workflows, ensuring smooth, efficient project execution.
  • Established strong internal and external relationships within Global Studios & the wider company.

What you will need:

  • Industry Knowledge: An excellent knowledge of, and passion for the podcasting industry as well as understanding the overall media marketplace.
